This reads more like a picturebook than an informational piece. That's not a bad thing, though anyone reading aloud should be aware of their reading speed so that listeners have time to observe the art. The backmatter is very brief, but interesting.

Sweet text, encouraging kids to read more. Each page is 'illustrated' with a real masterpiece...from all art schools and all eras...Read. This would be fun to use in an art class, to then use this as a mentor text to create another book of art.
