Just another good Baldacci thriller. A good second installment of the Travis Devine series. Hoping the author writes another book. Pretty much like all Baldacci books. If you enjoy his thrillers, this one will not disappoint. Audio narration was done well. Cast of narrators rather than having just one, is always a positive and this is just another example.

I should preface by saying that I read this as a standalone and have not read the first book in the Travis Devine series.

I bought this as a vacation read and while it did the job overall, I don’t know if I’d recommend this book to anyone. While the plot moved quickly at times, and Baldacci did a fairly good job at keeping me guessing, you can definitely tell this was written by a man. At times the way he described women and approached heavy topics like SA felt a bit ridiculous. I also felt that the dialogue got quite cheesy at times which took me out of the story unfortunately. Definitely not the worst thriller I’ve read but certainly not the best.
