Wow, I absolutely loved this book and it definitely has a powerful message to tell. With themes about love and self-love (the most important kind), the mixture of short and longer poems spin a beautiful story.

I found this book to be quite moving. Though poetry is not usually my cup of tea, I was able to understand and appreciate the emotions conveyed by the poet. The poet's words express feelings of sadness, madness, anxiety, and depression, and as someone who has experienced pain and anger, I found this to be very relatable. The poet's style is simple, yet it speaks to the experiences of people in all stages of life. I was surprised to learn that this book was written in 2020, during the pandemic, and I admire the author's ability to put into words the difficult emotions many of us are feeling.

However, there were some topics in the book that I did not agree with, such as LGBTQ+ themes. As a Muslim, these themes go against my beliefs, but I still respect the differences between people. I know that there are many different types of love, but I cannot support this topic in the book. I read the book without knowing about these themes beforehand, but I still managed to tolerate it. If I had known about them earlier, I might not have been able to finish the book. Nevertheless, I found the other topics in the book to be beautifully written.

I could copy paste any modern poetry review I wrote in here because it is the same. The only thing that is positive is that the poems were properly formatted so that it’s one per page.

-too expensive
-boring
-not deep
-instagram
-not really poetry

Twilight is more poetic than this. (And the book is cheaper)
