Thank you to Sarina Bowen and her team for the advance reader copy of A Little Too Late, an instalment in the Madigan Mountain series.

I am so excited to be whisked away to Madigan Mountain with Sarina Bowen and the other gals whose books succeed this one. I am a sucker for a good second-chance romance.

“As if it’s perfectly normal to move to the tiny town where your ex grew up and take a job working with his father.” An intriguing book right from the start that had me hooked! That quote right there had me wanting to know more and as I kept reading I became more and more captivated by Reed Madigan and Ava Aichers!

This is the first book in the series at Madigan Mountain resort in Colorado. This first one is about the oldest brother, Reed Madigan and is a 2nd chance and enemies to lovers story. This book sets up the whole series so I highly recommend reading this one first! It’s a cute romance story, with angst that doesn’t drag on which I love! The only thing I didn’t like is that the flashback chapters are all written in 3rd person. I wish those had been in first person and stayed in the same POV throughout the whole book! Besides that, it’s a very enjoyable story!

Sebastian York and Andi Arndt were perfect for the narration of this book! Their voices were exactly what I imagined for these characters and as always they did a flawless performance!

Ava and Reed were college sweethearts, until everything shifted between them. Now, ten years later they cross paths again and it’s not a happy reunion for either of them.

I loved Reed and Ava so much. Even after a decade and everything that happened between them they have chemistry and there is still some love between them. However, they also have a lot that they need to work through and discuss about what happened in the past.

I absolutely adored this story. I was hooked from the start. The banter, the chemistry, and the overall story was perfect.

I’m definitely looking forward to reading more about Reed’s brothers.

If you’re looking for a small town, second chance romance this is one to check out.

I absolutely love when these three authors come together to create a world of their own. I loved the Hush Note series they previously did so I was so excited when they announced a new collaboration. Although I had to wait until all 3 were released so I could effectively binge them.

A Little Too Late is the first story in the Madigan Mountain Series which takes place in a small ski town in Colorado. (As a current Colorado resident, I was extra excited) Reed is the oldest Madigan son and hasn’t been back to his family resort in over a decade due to family issues but when his father announces he is selling the resort he rushes back. It is a shock of a lifetime when he sees that his college girlfriend, Ava, is helping run the resort.

Reed and Ava had a whirlwind romance for a year in college until it all came crashing down around them. They ended poorly and being reunited was not what either of them expected however Reed knew he couldn’t let this opportunity pass him by. Nor could he let anything bad happen to his family’s resort. They dealt with a lot of heartbreak in college, too much for two people so young but 10 years later they are more mature and ready to work through it. I loved them as a couple. Ava’s support group at the resort was also great, I loved Halley!

Now off to start Weston’s story!!
