Loved this. Annette Badland plays this brilliant detective whose effectiveness is often judged (wrongly) by her appearance mainly her being overweight. The fact that her chauvinistic boss constantly berates her about this and this particular aspect really made me cringe every single time. She is ablely assisted by Henry her Detective Sergeant and i really liked the progression of their relationship. I like the relationship she had with her mum which whilst never totally easy was brilliantly portrayed. Apart from the body shaming aspect i really liked this and would read or listen to more tales from Gwen and would happily reread/relisten to this.
