This was a sweet, small town, friends to lovers romance ! My first book by Amber Kelly and it will not be my last !

This is a standalone book within the Poplar Falls Series that follows Brandt and Bellamy . Brandt is trying to let go of his past and start fresh as the new vet in town . He has such a big heart and only wants the very best for those he holds closest to him .

Bellamy is a girl who knows exactly what she wants . When things don’t go as planned she finds herself back home working on her families farm and as the town vet tech, all while trying to find what new path to take .

Another solid book in the Poplar Fall series. Brandt was definitely a character I was curious about from the first book we met him in and then even more when we got to learn more about him in Wicked Hearts. I'm glad he got his own book and his happily ever after, especially with Bellamy. I think they were truly a great pair for each other. I do have one complaint with this one, while the build up to the two of them was really great, I felt that everything was a little rushed once they got together. I did really love how their relationship developed though, and I love that it was a true friendship between them first. I also like how they both understood and supported each other. I just wanted to see more of them actually together before the third act conflict occurred.

Still a book and series I am very much enjoying and am very much looking forward to continuing. This is one I would recommend to anyone who enjoys the following.

✔️ Friends to Lovers
✔️ Quasi Workplace Romance
✔️ Widower
✔️ Close Friends
✔️ Small Town
✔️ First Person Dual POV

This book starts off with a super cute prologue with the FMC, Bellamy, and her friends, then moves into Bellamy's college life and graduation. After graduation, she moves back home and now finds herself single. Wanting to put her college degree to use while trying to figure out her upcoming life plans, Bellamy gets a job at a local veterinarian's office, now owned by Brandt.

Bellamy and Brandt start to catch feelings for each other, but Brandt has some events in his background that he needs to realize Bellamy can help him with before they move forward. What will it take for the two of them to live out their happily ever after?

Tim Paige and Stella Bloom were great at bringing Bellamy and Brant to life. I felt that Stella's voice had the perfect western accent to it and you could really feel Tim Paige's emotion when he was sharing Brandt's tragedy.

This is book 4 in the series, and I haven't read or listened to any of the others and I don't feel like anything major was spoiled for me. I am weird though, and will read knowing spoilers and even jump around and read a series out of order.

THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU IF: You're looking for a sweet small town listen with a little spice and some hurdles for the main characters to overcome.

This book was a 3/3.5 stars for me. I did enjoy this book, but I did not connect with the characters as much. Their relationship had a few shining moments but had other points where it felt flat. I liked them but never really fell in love with them. Honestly, to me the best part of this book was the friendships. Bell, Elle, and Sonia always being there for each other and their strong ride or die friendship was great. I also liked to see Brandt get involved with the guys. I really liked seeing more of Walker and his and Elle's relationship, as well as his friendship with the other girls and his new friendship with Brandt. This book did get me excited for a Foster/Sonia book in the near future!

I swear Amber Kelly’s stories are like coming home for me. I have obsessed and loved the Poplar Falls series since book one and finally getting Brandt’s story is just icing on the cake. This story was yet again, another compelling romance that Amber Kelly has brought so beautifully to this series. The way everything was described just warmed my heart in the best of ways. I loved the passion and emotional connection between Brandt and Bellamy, and could not get enough of their beautiful love story.

Fragile Hearts was a story that brought all the heart flutters and sighs, and definitely hit the spot. I loved seeing Brandt and Bellamy’s relationship progress and heat up to incendiary levels. I loved their instant connection, the spark and their full-on lust/love relationship. It was smart, sexy, sweet, and so very satisfying. Even when it looked like things weren’t quite going to be as happily ever after as I thought.

This beautiful story touched me so hard. It was sexy, emotional, poignant and filled to the brim with the sexy chemistry and banter that I live for. This was another gold star hit in this incredible series.
