DNF!!!! I stopped at page 153!!!!! This book is so bad!!!! It also make no sense!!!!! Listen I'm not try to shit on this series but this book is bad. I love dark romance and smutty books but if your gonna write it atleast make it make sense.
For one!!!!! How did no one warn the main character that she married a con artist. It stated in multiple chapters that everyone knew he was cheating and or using the main character. So like no one who cared about her felt the need to warn her of the man she married?!?!
Second her best friend is supposed to be this badass madame but all she used for is to tell the main character the obvious and not even helping her out.
Thrid!!! Hate fucking is a thing and this author didn't use it to the advantage to make the book interesting instead she making her MC claim she gonna keep her independence while literally bending to the man will. Like I didn't even make it to the smut cuz I grew bored with the constant, he won't break me, then proceeded to make her break.
If you are going to write about a defiant strong bratty women then make her hold her fucking ground.
