Not a bad story but every time Helena uses "incredulous" as an adjective it takes me out of the story. Find an alternative descriptor. It literally must be her favorite word. It's a bit excessive and it makes me wonder if she needs a thesaurus.

The tension and animosity while trying to maintain professional is definitely entertaining. I like that Wren and Lincoln are more realists than optimists/pessimists.

Ok--this helped the series bounce back for me. (Even if #2 is still my favorite.)

It continues the group of rich elites who realize the BS their world entails and push back against it (even while enjoying its excesses, LOL), but Lincoln is the one who pushes back hardest of all. He'd rather be in third world countries building infrastructure than deal with the tabloid his s#$%show of a family runs. He shows up to a family funeral in a man bun and scruffy beard. Wren is Armstrong's handler who is now tasked by Lincoln's mother to clean Lincoln up, and clean up nicely he does (obviously).

Got a little too procedural at the end dealing with deep dark family secrets
SpoilerLincoln and Armstrong's now deceased dad had another family, and they have a half-sister Lincoln's age, named Hope
but, as always, Jacob Morgan (who narrates Lincoln) performs Lincoln's confusion and anxiety beautifully.
Armstrong's more childish than ever, which, while I'm sure there are people who act as badly as he does, nevertheless felt like overkill at this point.
I love that Lincoln and his cousins call their grandmother "G-mom"--my mother-in-law's British and she has her great-grandchildren call her "Super Granny" rather than "Great-Granny," LOL.

Such open communication, appreciated how transparent and adult they seemed in a lot of conversations.
