I’ve been a fan of this series since I randomly got The Short Drop. This is pretty good, but the story kind of fell flat for me for some reason. It started out pretty interesting but I almost felt like I missed some of it. I found that it just sort of ended with a whimper and kind of lost some of the storyline in the middle.

This book feels like a money grab on a story that's run it's time. The story line is great, but poorly executed and not well thought out. Characters jump from country to country as if they are teleported. Tinsley is an active character when he's needed and other times the author seems to have forgotten him. Needs a rewrite..

Gibson Vaughn and the Law of Diminishing Returns

It's quite simply time for Matthew FitzSimmons to move on to different subject matter. This might be the most repetitive book I've ever read. It was never exciting, and I never cared what was happening. The writing just wasn't there. Felt like we were on a merry-go-round of situations we've already seen these characters in over and over. Just overall disappointing.
