Amy Harmon is a gifted storyteller and I have yet to read a book of hers that doesn't pull me right in.

The writing is beautiful. I still think about quotes from this book years after I first read it.

I enjoyed it. It is really well written. Very quotable. But it lacks... something. The story is not something memorable or anything new.

I'll leave here some quotes:

"What could a lark teach an eagle?"

He was so adamant. So sure. So cold and hard. Telling me what to do. But I was a Teller. And I would not be told.

If you are intrigued by it, read it. But if you are unsure if you should read it or not, I say to give it a pass.

The world building, history and story are fantastic. If only there was a bit more details for the feelings, especially where the romance is concerned and I would be totally and utterly hooked. Will definitely reread it though in the future :)
