Really nice little prequel/ novella. Get start and really got me interested in the friends group. I'll be reading Aidens' book. I'm ready to see that grumpy A-hole brought to his knees for his girl.

nice quick read to start off the Lakeshore U series! I love quick novellas, makes it fast and easy to understand where those character’s story came from. Plus you get to the spicy scene quick😉

I’m glad Ella gave Connor a second chance. There was no sense in denying it. Also reading all the banters between the whole team, I honestly can’t wait to read all about them😅🤣 they seem like a fun dynamic.

A quick, steamy introduction to the Lakeshore series with a Halloween theme.

Ella and Connor's story is a second chance, boy is obsessed and the girl is over it-grumpy romance. I love this type of trope where the boy is totally into the girl and proves just how much. The only sad part of this book is how short it is. What's nice is this couple pops up quite a bit throughout this new series so even if this book is short we get more of them going forward.

Loved it. It was a short quick read that pretty much sets up a new series while giving us Conner and Ella’s quick love story. It does it’s job really if introducing us to new characters and wetting our appetites for more because I can tell you there are definitely two or three I can’t wait see fall for their “ones”.

I want more!!! I am in love with Connor Morgan. His persistence will make your heart melt. This was the perfect pair and while I loved the story as is I couldn’t help feeling like there should have been more. I did not want it to end. I can’t wait to catch glimpses of them throughout the rest of the series!!!

A tightly woven second-chance story that wrapped up quickly. I enjoyed the fast-paced nature of this one, and didn't feel like there was any unnecessary explication. It's a great set-up to the new series.

not going to rate this because i dont want to give a novella 1 star. but this was so cringe and i know this girl did not unironically say "jesus h. christ" while they were doing it
