Tessa Layne continues to write heartwarming and sexy cowboy romances! I loved the characters in this story. Brodie was vulnerable and flawed but also strong and compelling. I felt like I could really relate and I just wanted to hug him! Jamey was so spunky and funny, I loved her dialogue and her Irish brogue. Both had some tough obstacles to overcome but in the end, Brodie and Jamey helped each other to pull through. Ms. Layne did a great job addressing some hard issues...kudos to her! Told from dual POVs with a happy ending.

Received this book as an ARC for my honest review.

The main two characters in this book of the series is Brodie and Jamey. Both of them have a secret and they aren't telling anyone.
Brodie and Jamey really have sparks fly when Brodie's brother gets married to Jamey's best friend. Nothing happens but 3 months later after Jamey looses her relationship and her business she is back working at the ranch and trying her best to not let her secret slip. Brodie and Jamey can't help but become involved and they fall in love.

The book is a nice read, passionate and you can feel the heat between the two which is hard for some authors to pull off.
I only gave it 3 stars as it could have been a little more in depth when it came to each of the characters. It felt like she just wanted to get them together.
