Nice story of when Jessie first starts noticing weird thing going on in Junction.

I have read this preview a few times now and each time it feels like a brand new story that entices me to wish for more. I am hoping that I can read the first book soon. It's driving me crazy not knowing what will happen next. I encourage this book to otherworldly readers.

I read this short story before knowing it was the prequel to the 13 to life series and now I am totally intrigued about the 13 to life. It really grabbed my attention and now I am excited to read the 13 to life series.

I didn't get why this couldn't have been added to the first book because I didn't think it added much to the series on its own.

This short prequel almost seemed pointless to me. What storyline the book contains is good, but I wanted to see alittle more. The only thing nice is it contained a glimpse of the first book in the series.

Only the first few pages are the actual prequel. The rest was a sample from 13 to Life. I was hoping to learn more about Sarah, but really it was just a jog through the park when suddenly a big scary animal scares the girls. I thought prequels were meant to give more insight on the world or characters? This really have us nothing.

This is the first of Shannon Delany's books I've read, but I think it was a good example of her work, and plan on getting the first book of hers, 13 to Life.

This prequel was super, annoyingly, short. There was no real plot and the author wrote the characters as if we should already know them (which is not cool in a prequel). But it did effectively make me want to read the first book of the series.

This was SUPER short and completely pointless for me because I've already read the first 2 books in the series. I think if I had read it before reading the first book, it might have helped because it gave a little glimpse into the dynamic between Jess, Amy, and Sarah (which took me a little bit to figure out when reading the first book).

Ok - I feel like I'm missing something - but I can understand that this is just a short story prequel. It is one scene and it gives the interaction between the 3 "bffs". So - they are not so close - but I already picked that up in the first book. I think anyone reading this book first - and the teaser to the first the book - should actually read the first book before totally judging the series. The first book is slow to unfold - so you can't guage from just the first chapter.
