I am not who I thought I was

Well this went by fast. A lot of angst and questioning on Morgan's part. I mean, come on! We get you're adopted but you're now part of a coven! Sometimes those kind of things are on the same scale of OHMYGOD.

Will continue to read, so far, so good. Hoping it gets a bit better.

In its genre, I thought this was also a pretty good book. I liked the interplay between the old diary and the events of this book.

Very solid sequel.

While this series is dated, and definitely has it's petty moments, I find that Cate Tiernan has a strong talent for making a 185 story feel like a fully flushed out novel. Yes, they tend to end on cliff hangers, so there is definitely an element of incompleteness, but for the most part, I never feel the story is rushed.

The only portion of this series I have found rushed so far, is the VERY insta-love relationship between Cal and Morgan. But overall, I really enjoy this series and am excited to continue

There's a little more tension, a little more drama, in this second volume of the series. Morgan finds out that she is adopted, and spends much of her time either obsessively tracking down information about her birth mother or being angry at her perfectly loving parents for "lying" to her for sixteen years.

Some mysterious characters appear—ones who may wish to do Morgan harm. We also begin to learn about Morgan's birth mother and her coven, the Belwicket coven, which was mysteriously wiped out some twenty years ago.

Nothing at all is resolved within this story, while many more questions arise.

Cal, Morgan and the rest of the group are now officially a Coven. Morgan’s powers continue to astound the rest of them, could she be a blood witch? Because of jealousy, Morgan is no longer friends with Bree.
