I want to start by saying this could have so easily been a five for me had it not been for the fact that I loathe it when the author makes the mc’s constantly use the pushing away, not good enough internal battle as a plot point.

This was such a fun read! I love a good fake dating book and this was a new storyline I’ve never read before. The journal entries were so fun and I loved the therapy aspect. I also liked that there wasn’t a resolution with some of the parents, it made it feel more real. 4.5 stars ✨

I love a good fake dating, close proximity trope. One of my favorites but it can be so predictable. This was such a pleasant change. I loved the dates. It was and it wasn’t a slow burn if that makes sense.
Some serious swoon-y moments, laugh out loud ones and definitely some spice.
