A story about a girl that shows us in the life of a family and states that it's their half sister. This starts a chain of events that mixes with each person's private life. There are secrets and pain and tears and relinked friendships.

Thank you to St. Martin's Press and NetGalley for a gifted copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Unfortunately, this was a book that just didn't hold my interest and I was unable to finish it. I know many readers enjoy books by Sandie Jones but after a few tries, I think they may just not be for me.

Honestly, the premise was really interesting but the plot fell flat. At the 70% mark the author tries to throw 2 separate plot twists that don't turn into anything and felt more like an attempt at a "gotcha!" and finally at the last chapter, there was not-so-well explained explanation for what happened.
I read other books by Sandie Jones before but this was a let down for sure.
