"I choose you. You’re it for me. I love you—infinitely.”

It’s hard to review this book because of spoilers but this is what I’ll say:
- Beholden starts off a week or so after the dramatic ending of Beloved.
- This book is not short on drama either. Neil and Piper are at their best (a.k.a worst), more secrets are revealed and there are exciting new developments.
- I loved Jackson in Beloved but we had a rocky relationship in Beholden 😅. At least the man knows how to grovel. He gets a point for that.
- Ashton is the best best friend and I'm so glad she gets a book (even though I kind of wanted her to be with Mark, let's be real).
- I really liked the ending and the epilogue. Plus the audio had bonus content!

Overall, I definitely recommend the duet and the audiobooks. I binged them in like three days. Woops.

Tell me I didn't finish 2 books in 1 day. I didn't like it as much as the other one because there was a helluva lot of angst in this one, but I still enjoyed it enough to finish it in a few hours.
I already said what I liked and what I didn't like in the other review so I won't write the same things again.
But yeah, I liked it and I can't wait to read Natalie and Liam's book. This is gonna be good.

Okay, the first book was whatever, but what the eff happened to the author in this book? All the little plot points she planted along the way was suddenly forgetten in the pursuit of an angsty reunion, I waited till the last chapter for an action pack resolution for them but nothing happened. So they were all fillers? I don't get it, every other book I read from her at least gave a somewhat conclusion or will-pick-this-up-in-the-next-book for all the suspense, I'm so disappointed.

Only bright point was that I discovered a new narrator to look out for in the future, Ryan Hudson did an amazing job, so did Andi Arndt in that point, like she always does.
