The impact this series left on me when I first read it is unmatched. It sparked my love for Greek Mythology and I still hold the characters in a special place in my heart after all these years. To this day, the gradual development of Percy and Annabeths relationship is still one of my favourite in fiction. Looking back the series isn't very accurate to Greek Mythology and there were a few things that did not age well. It still gets the 5 stars for pure nostalgia though

I’ve been a Percy Jackson fan ever since my middle-school years and it was one of those books that got me interested in reading in the very first place.

🔱 This series was an obsession for me and my classmates and it was such a great experience to discuss and share our excitement and thoughts on the books while reading them. We used to exchange books with one another, buddy-read the books together and gift each another PJO merch! Aahh, those days! I don’t think any series in my school was as popular as this one, next to only ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid’.

🔱 Most of the people weren’t even book-lovers, but the hype was so contagious that reading it was indispensable for everyone… and that’s what was most incredible about it ♥️!

🔱 I enjoyed the movies as well and hate the fact that they were discontinued. But… I’m super excited for the Disney+ Percy Jackson TV Show which was announced by Rick Riordan a few weeks ago! I’m sure everyone is thrilled too. I hope it lives up to our expectations 🤞.
