What an inspiring and wholesome story about the strength of friendship, faith, and community. I took off one star only because the book often felt repetitive. Reading about Patrick and Justin's adventure on the Camino de Santiago definitely made me instantly add the Camino to my bucket list. I can't wait to watch their documentary next!

This was a really engaging story of friendship, resilience, persistence, faith, and trust. Patrick and Justin have a unique and remarkable friendship; it is a treasure to be invited into some of that experience through this book. You will certainly share the feelings they describe of hiking the Camino.

What an inspirational accomplishment. If only we were all so lucky to have a friendship like theirs. I have walked part of the Camino de Santiago and I still cannot imagine how difficult their journey was. I really enjoyed the story of their friendship, past and present, and their journey. However, the sections talking about Patrick's "awakening" and past "sins" felt out of place. They felt forced into the narrativeof the story and didn't add to the book, in my opinion.

An easy but great read about how true friendship can be. It makes me want to do the Camino more so than ever.

This was a good read. Toward the end I was getting tired of the introspection, but it didn’t make me want to see the movie any less or be any less impressed with the feat these two friends completed.
