Kennedy Ryan’s tendency to put forgiveness and family above all as the theme in her novels really irks me. Not everyone deserves forgiveness, even if they are ‘family”. Not to mention that (and I saw someone say something similar) this book felt a lot like inspiration porn and that turned me off. Was Canon supposed to get a cookie for still loving and finding Neevah attractive “despite” what she was going through? Other than that, I did think that he was a good man and they’re really good for each other. And I definitely felt the attraction and more importantly, the love for one another, which I did not feel when I read Before I Let Go. I would have finished it, had it not been for Terry and the fact that Neevah was so irresponsible with her health.

I just finished this beautiful, beautiful story and I’m still reeling in my seat at how beautifully written was this book! Everything was painted so vividly and real; it was inevitable I fell in love with it.
This book is full of complex characters who are likable and relatable. Kennedy Ryan is one of my favorite authors and I cannot wait to read the next book Score.
I loved both of the characters equally, Canon with his artistic determination and Neevah with her passionate ambition, they are driven and kind people.
I cannot say enough good things about this book! This needs to be put on your tbr, or bumped up ASAP! You don’t want to miss out on this beautiful story.

Beautiful romance story, this story is beautifully written, Neevah and Canon are a couple I will not be forgetting, their story is a masterpiece, very emotional, it will touch your soul. Hollywood romance like never you have read before, each page, each word will make your feelings rise. I would love to see this story come to life on the screen, it's just that perfect. It blew my mind in the best way, amazing 5-stars!

If September was anything, it was filled with Kennedy Ryan and Jakobi Diem! Reel was another hit for me—a beautiful actress and director romance. Even though the spice doesn’t really pick up until the end, there’s a deeper storyline here dealing with chronic illness and loss. Yet somehow, despite all that, Kennedy Ryan still manages to make it a sexy book.
