The chipmunk subplot alone is worth 5 stars.
A fun sing song story about some crazy bunnies on a bus.

Oh I had hoped for something better. The illustrations were fantastic, fully of whimsy and happiness. BUT the text.....really the book just encouraged anarchy. There was no point. There was no rhyme or reason. At the end, I was like "so bunnies drove around and were crazy....that's it?"

Very silly book. Sometimes we need silly books. Silly rabbits taking over a bus, and racing through town, with a great refrain.
"Bunnies on a bus, bunnies on a bus, NO wonder there's a fuss, about the bunnies on the bus."
Reminds me a bit of the "Wheels on the bus go round and round". Could well be sung, as well as read.
Recommended for reading out loud.
Thanks to Netgalley for making this book available for an honest review.

It's perfect for children how are still into rhymes and very short stories. It's silly and the plot is a mess, something little kids enjoy. What happenes when a (rather large?) group of bunnies get on the bus? The pace is so quick that you don't even have time to focus on the other animals, although I am curious about their idea of what's going on, ha!
There's little to it story-wise, but it's nice to see a story from the animals' perspective and see them create mayhem. It ends with the promise of a sequel.
The illustrations are beautiful and full, reminding me of the children's books of my childhood.
I recommend this to children aged 3-5 years.
I received a free e-book copy of the book from the publisher via Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.. All thoughts expressed here are my own.

Entertaining with lots of silly illustrations. No real moral or overarching lesson to this book. But it does offer plenty of opportunities to engage your kids, by asking them to look for specific characters or things happening in the pictures.

Enjoyed the illustrations more than the story. Cute, but not much going on and the rhyming felt off a few times making it difficult to read aloud with the right beat.
