My biggest issue (and seemingly everyone else's) is the ending. And it's so bogus that it made me wish I hadn't read the chapter at all. The rest of the book is okay, not super interesting but it was definitely better than the second book. If I'm being honest, just read the first book. Don't bother with the rest of the series. Some of the characters were lovable as usual though, so that's good.

It makes some references back to the first and second book a few times, not in detail, but still something to watch out for if you are particularly sensitive to topics like manipulation, sexual harassment, medical trauma, etc.

(They reference back to the sexual harassment of both the girls and Adrian, and Anton shows up A TON in this book and tries to manipulate the girls quite a bit. It also has a huge plot point near the end where Philomena dies right after being drugged by Annalise due to the need to get rid of the girl's kill switches. Philomena "dies" as well.)
