Easy read. I would recommend it for the commuter train, but it is not a must, and sometimes I felt like shaking the protagonist and asking her, if were finally willing to live in the real world. If the protagonist started to turn her life around before she were in her mid-thirties, then I would call it a coming-of-age story.

I expected this to be a summer read: quick, fun and likable. It was barely any of these, but I decided to stick with it. I wanted to feel like there was growth in Julie Klam - from rich kid brat to a life of work and motherhood. But you know what, there was no tension, no transformation, not much laughter, and really not much of a story.

I don't know if we are supposed to feel sorry for Julie Klam for growing up as a spoiled, rich girl unable to cope with adulthood and responsibility, but I didn't. The book is not funny, or entertaining. Hated it. Hated her.
