There are so many editing errors in this book - grammatical and layout - that it takes away from the content.

Aliza is proficient at linking therapeutic principles of empowerment long held by the field of mental health to astrology at an introductory level, and teaches you how to recognize patterns in your own life to their reflection on the birth chart for a more mindfully aware connection to self. From this place of self aware mindfulness we can then focus on goals we have struggled to achieve, problematic patterns that have eluded our conscious awareness, and find new perspectives on the obstacles to the changes we desire in our lives. She is an artful storyteller and profoundly humanistic in her approach. If I had to write a criticism of this book, it could have used a disclaimer or caveat that more explicitly tells people that it isn't a replacement for healthcare in mental health crisis, and spelled out what a crisis could be. Only because those are the times we live in. I recommend this book to anyone looking for new ways to face old problems in money and relationships.

Surprisingly, even though it’s supposed about astrology (and it is), the manifestation techniques and considerations lean heavily on modern psychology and feel more like a life philosophy.

If you are interested in learning more about how you can use Astrology to self reflect and manifest a life more attuned with your inner sense of self/purpose, I recommend you read this. Aliza provides easy to follow manifestation tips and tools to change your reality.

Received from the publisher, St Martin's Press, from a goodreads giveaway. "Using Astrology To Manifest Your Best Life". This book is not for the novice reader of the zodiac or astrology. Goes into birth charts and manifestations of different aspects in your chart. Has individual "lessons" to understand your self and become a better person.
