A quick, funny read best suited for younger elementary. The illustrations really add to the humor, so watch them carefully.

Great story about a friendship between a boy and a robot. Shows how friendships can flourish despite differences. Fun illustrations by Dan Yaccarino.

I know several little boys who'd dig a story that shows a robot as a friend.

This is super fun - a great read-aloud that gets everyone speaking "robot". It's also a quick and easy way to show an example of parallel story structure. Our library's copy was sent to me by Mr. Schu, so I love it extra.
