Beautifully illustrated story about the ocean and the creatures who inhabit it. Touches on oil spills, just a bit, can be useful to introduce environmental issues. Will also be a great addition to the MARE support collection.

As a boy and his grandfather walk along the beach, the grandfather tells the little boy the story of the ocean and the water cycle. The grandfather tells about a wide variety of things that are connected to the ocean, including the animals of the ocean, things that should not be in the ocean like sludge, oil that is under the ocean, and rain that falls on the earth.
