Cam! I love Cam! Okay this book is about Avery and Cam, their story is brilliant, I was worried about JLA pulling a NA Romance and she proved to me that she can write anything at this point and I would gladly read it, and so I have. It was emotional, heartbreaking, and simply amazing. I laughed and my heart was squeezed more than once and I devoured the book.

Loved this book! But cringed from the lack of editing. Why was it released early when it seems to have not been proofread?

I can overlook grammar in self published books. I even get irritated with people who complain about it in reviews. But it is literally the only bad thing I can say about this book. I lost count of how many times there was a period instead of a question mark. Their instead of they're. Missing words.

But the story is worth looking past that. It's beautiful, it's raw, it touched my heart. Avery is a troubled and damaged girl, and Cam is just... the most amazing book boyfriend I've ever come across. Avery pissed me off several times with her stubbornness and insisting to hold back sharing her past with Cam, but I still could understand why she would handle things the way she did.

And I got a great happily ever after ending!

4'5. Es una lectura super tierna y amena, muy recomendable. Los mejores personajes son Cam y Jacob.

Loved it, but I love all of J Lynn (Jennifer's) work so far and I have listened to most of her books now.

I stayed up until 3am last night to finish this. Cam is now one of my favorite romance heroes. This is going to the top of my list of things to properly review!

I love books with romance in it. Those where the MC meet from the very first chapter, and after that a fight of will starts. I also love slow burn. When there's angst, and drama, and secrets, nonstop flirting and specially when both MC develop a great friendship on top of all.

This book was fun, swooning and heartbreaking.
The heroes have their past haunting them and seeing how they overcome that past is wonderful.

I have taken a break from fantasy for a while and forgotten how much I love JLA’s banter between her characters! Even though she writes under a different name in this genre the playful writing still comes through! It’s funny yet gripping! This was a great little romance and a quick read

I loved Avery’s character. She was funny and strong and realistic for someone who went through that type of trauma. Cam’s character seemed to good to be true and I also did not like how much he pushed her about telling him what happened. She wasn’t ready and he should’ve respected that. It was nice for him to tell her about himself but that doesn’t mean that she was ready to talk about herself yet.

I thought the plot and sequence of events were very realistic and I really enjoyed it.

Lastly, I totally understand that Molly had gone through something traumatic but JESUS CHRIST I wanted to slap the shit out of her. How fucking rude was she?? What the hell was her problem? It made me sick that she hit Avery. She didn’t deserve it and I feel like Molly was just taking out her anger on her and it wasn’t fair.
