Great emotional story of war and abuse induced on people of Iran. So important to read. The wriitng was very consise and showed the growing of Marji very smoothly. The art was beautiful, but sometimes terrifying. The next story is even more heartbreaking. This really shows what war and oppression can do for a young generation.

Americans should read this in school. I had no idea about so much recent history covered in this book.
