The goal - to read the entire series.
The result - stopping after 5 books in.

Overall, this is the same story told over and over again. It never gets better though.

I read the digital version of this book, which I downloaded via Apples ibooks. The stories themselves are really good, some of them rather dark in places... so I would (and have) recommend them for others to read. Was really annoyed with this copy tho, it was peppered with formatting errors and the last 3 books aren't even in the order listed in the index at the front!

Read the book, just not this version

I have two editions of The Complete Wizard of Oz but I liked this one more mainly because it is unabridged. I also got it for free but I don't know if it still is (it can't be that expensive though). I knew about Oz as a child and read probably all of the novels. However, I didn't remember most of the things and decided to read them as an adult. Surprisingly, it was still fun and I really enjoyed this loooong journey. All 14 novels are included in this collection and it is very long (2100+ pages) so be ready to embark on a long journey. Definitely recommended!
