A very enjoyable book! Great sequel to Stories I Only Tell My Friends. While every story was funny or heartfelt, his stories about his kids and his family are the best, and the one about taking his oldest son to college just about had me in tears it was so tender. Hands down the best chapter was the one on an epic Bigfoot prank he pulled on his kids, made even better on the audiobook by his AMAZING "Ohio Scream" he used as a Bigfoot call. SO FUNNY.

With over three decades in Hollywood, he's bound to have some interesting stories. This book does not disappoint.

Not quite as good as his first memoir. Still, a fun read to/from work while sitting in traffic!

Not quite as good as Stories I Only Tell My Friends, but still enjoyable, this audio version is read by Lowe and he talks more about his career, love life, being sober and philosophies of being a father. Lots of Hollywood talk and impressions and like his first memoir, Lowe comes off as a thoughtful, decent person.

Wanted to love this more than I did. I grabbed it at the library on impulse, but it made me like Rob Lowe less. He comes off as a narcissist, although he acknowledges in the book that he is one. Seems his first book was better, but I'm not sure if I want to go back and spend the time reading that one. Also, disappointed he didn't talk more about Parks & Rec, but I guess that's my own problem.

*Sniffs* *Wipes tears from cheeks* I love a story that makes me feel so emotional I have a constant lump in my throat. I also love a story that makes me feel as if I have to be there with the characters, wrapping my arms around them and telling them everything will be all right.

The story of Elijah Deacon, son from a religious family, and Seth Jacobs, a paralegal had me riveted to my seat. From the dreadful tragic circumstances that bought the two together and left them with a little legacy that needed them both, to the conflict and turmoil they suffer and the problems that they face, this is a tale of forgiveness, betrayal, love, desperation and sheer raw passion that will turn your insides outside and leave you with tears on your face and a goofy smile when everything works out for the best.

Beautifully written, with characters that leap off the page into your heart, Love Life and Circumstances is a triumph from authors J T Cheyanne and V L Moon.

I heartily recommend this book to everyone who loves a well drawn and emotional tale and wants to find out just what destiny finally has in store for two men who go through so much heartbreak.
