Loved the book and it's so we'll written ! The only flaw I found it was a bit slow to me and sometimes some subplot came out of nowhere!
I loved every characters (except the parents of course 🙄 but since I didn't like them because of theirs actions, I can say they're well rounded characters), theirs relationships with one and each other, Aoife and Finn's relationship was a delight to read and the brothers and their dynamic were so funny !

Finn and Aoife are a good start to this series. It’s a good introduction to the Five Points mob.

This is very much an insta love romance with the heavy misogyny that is prevalent in mafia/dark romance books.

4% in and I knew this was going to be one of my favourites. Why? Because it made me feel invested.

There’s nothing I love more than when an author knows how to write small moments. Something as simple as being together in the kitchen, a glance or grabbing some’s hand, it's beautiful and intimate and so difficult to write and make it seem authentic. Serena really knows how to create that level of chemistry that I was completely consumed in reading. We can all agree that writing excellent sex is talent, but what’s more of talent is being able to write intimacy and have the reader feel it.

It's also a bonus to write a plus-size character when her thoughts about her body are not used as a plot device. I am so excited to dig into this world more!
