From reread in 2020 - Really disappointed to see the use of the r word in the book. I don't know if I somehow didn't notice it before but I gave that page the stink eye. So unnecessary.

A sequel that improves on the first one! I thought the mother-daughter dynamics were quite well-done. Also it is so, so important and underrated to see girls in books drop everything not for family or boys but for their friends.
