I didn’t particularly find any of the girls super lovable in this book. They are super angsty teens and it doesn’t quite read the same as an adult. However, I don’t think it was unrealistic as to what it’s like being a teenage girl. Also, a few things haven’t aged quite well from the year the book was written to 2023.

To see most of my grievances with this book, read my review of the first one. I only carried on with this series because the characters are lovable and real. I liked finding out what happened to them this second summer. Overall, decent, but bad writing. Not a book to write home about.
