Cute. But much mystery. The ghost tells everything.

4 stars only because Cheryl and the police had me so irrationally frustrated that I almost skipped to book 3

Love this series.. I’m glad I gave it a chance. It’s different and not so predictable

3 stars for this one. Unfortunately I didn't enjoy it as much as the last book. I loved the second half, but I thought the first half really brought it down. There wasn't a whole lot happening, and the things that were happening...oh boy. See, there was one REALLY annoying character, and that first half was basically comprised of scenes of said character going to multiple locations and complaining about the exact same thing. Scene after scene. It got to the point where I was skimming through pages to get through it. It wasn't that the writing was bad, or that the other characters were inconsistent, but...this one character.

Once we got past the 50% mark this book actually got really good, on par with the last book. I just think that there were some no so great story choices at the beginning, and the story could have easily been moved forward a lot earlier. I'm still definitely looking forward to reading the rest of the series (I've actually already started the third book) because I'm still really enjoying the characters and the overall feel of this book. Hopefully the next one will be just as great as the first book!
