Exciting and the twists were not expected at all. Every time I thought I had figured it out, it changed. I wasn't a huge fan of the love triangle and especially not big on it being unresolved by the end. But it was a fun and easy read. Super captivating

i always heard people raving about this series, so I couldn't help myself. I had to see if it was worth the hype. honestly? I get it. it was a super fun read, especially because I love all things criminal and fbi and shit. it's always been very fascinating to me, so this was enjoyable because it had a lot of explanations about certain elements of crime. my only complaints are the relationships between Cassie and Michael and Cassie and Dean. it felt rushed, and I understood her confusion about who she liked, but it felt as if the romance was a side thought and not anything truly important. hopefully, when I read the other books, I'll be happier with that whole dynamic. otherwise, great read.
