I'm not quite sure what to say about this title. I enjoyed the plot and the author's writing style (wanted to give 3 stars for it), but the storyline really seemed to drag on with not much happening until the last few chapters. I kept losing interest while reading and it took me over two weeks to finish, when a book this size usually takes me less than a week. I originally chalked that up to the fact that I was busier, but once I was more available to read, I found that I was just trying to get it finished. It's slow-paced with likable characters, but just... kind of... meh.

This is an amazing book- quick read! I couldn’t put it down. I loved how the story just grew and grew till it all came together at the end!!

Beautiful

A great historical WWII love story. Couldn’t put it down and makes me think of how awful many aspects of the war truly were and how a true first love can last forever, even if our stories are changed many times.
