This book was simply not for me as I realized I'm not super interested in this era of historical fiction. It was a little bit more slow paced for my liking and I found myself struggling to finish the book. However, the story itself was beautifully written and very detail oriented. It is very cool that this book is based on a true story as well. There are definitely some aspects of the story that maybe in a different format, I would have enjoyed more.
