The Fiancé is sexy, fun, and a truly enjoyable romance to be swept away by for a few hours. I love a wound-tight hero who is undone by a straight-shooting heroine and Daniel and Ava gave that in spades.

Ava is a teacher who has had a run of bad luck. She isn’t able to land a permanent job as a teacher, has to work at night for a catering company, and now her apartment is being sold and there’s no way she can find a place like it at a rate she can afford. It seems like the cherry on top of a s--- sundae when she’s caught in the supply closet with Daniel Moretti. She can’t afford to lose her job if her boss thinks she’s hitting up supply closets with clients, but Daniel offers an interesting proposition: he’ll help her get back on her feet if she agrees to pose as his fiancée. Ava is a kindhearted, hardworking woman who can’t catch a break and I felt for her. There are elements of Cinderella as she’s swept away by Daniel and finds herself living a life so far from her normal. And Daniel is a Prince Charming…just a flawed, emotionally scarred one. Daniel knows image is everything and he needs Ava’s help to stave off false rumors that are threatening his company and his relationship with his brother. Daniel has seen firsthand the toxic side of love. His parents’ marriage was a disaster – to put it mildly – and he’s scarred and afraid to open up because of it. He keeps himself apart from everyone, but Ava isn’t about to let him hide behind his walls.

A fake relationship becomes all-too-real almost immediately thanks to the irresistible pull between Ava and Daniel. Their chemistry is fantastic and Stefanie London cranks the heat on high to devastatingly sexy effect. I love the heat and the heart as Ava and Daniel become more and more intertwined. So if you’re looking for a sexy Cinderella story where things only get better after midnight, The Fiancé is the perfect read for you.

Fake relationship AND forced proximity?? Yes, please. Thank you to Harlequin and Stefanie London for this fast and steamy read. I was between books and was craving something fast paced and engaging with enough steam to keep me turning the pages and this was it. I requested based on Stefanie London alone and later realized that this is a series. I am definitely going to find rest of this series!

This was a fun and sexy fake engagement story, with a icy-grumpy/warm-sunshine pairing. Daniel is a wealthy developer, constantly covered by the press, and trying to kill the rumors that he's sleeping with his brother's wife. Ava is a struggling want-to-be teacher who works for a caterer on the side. The accidental meeting of these two in a broom closet, is a pretty sexy little meet-cute and they see a fake engagement as a way to help both of them out of a tough spot. In order to convince their families and the press of their relationship, Ava moves into Daniel's apartment, and they take a private jet for an international getaway to France. As their fake feelings start to become real, Daniel's daddy issues cause him to pull away. The resolution was somewhat a little too quick for me, but that's because I love a *real good* grovel, and I thought Daniel could have done a bit more to make up for being a dick there at the end. Still, this story was fun, fast-paced and hot

Dion is my type of male lead--the difficult upbringing, the self-made successful man, and he's nice?! I understand why Sophia does what she does, but I would have caved right off the bat. Haha. Dion's reasons for wanting Sophia's family's business really hit me in the feels. Stefanie London does a great job delivering a story that makes you feel all the emotions. I was invested in the characters, and laughing my butt off at the ideas Sophia came up with. Seriously, I had to stop reading during their first meeting, I was laughing that hard. I had too much fun with this book, and I'll definitely be rereading it!

This was a fast, fun read. The heroine being an Australian took it out of the hum-drum category.

I have been waiting for this book since it reminds me of how to lose a guy in 10 days.. it was an okay book...

It was funny, sweet and made me laugh at the things Sophia did to make Dion not marry her since she was abit scared of her controlling father.. she did so many things bought taxidermy animals, wear second hand ugly clothes.. and was almost going to fake a affair (thank god she didnt do it but that did bite her in the ass later on who she asked.)  to get out of the contract.. but Dion caught on to her plan even with all that mess he was a nice guy i honestly thought he would be running for the hills but he stuck by every crazy thing.. and made a deal marry eachother no love we have benefits with eachother and you have freedom.... some drama happens after they marry a tragic loss and that plan Sophia was going to do comes back around.. and i wanna smack Dion for saying some dumb stuff near the end and not fighting for his girl.. :/ as for sophia she changed she stood up for what she wanted and finally told her controlling father off.

No ow/om, no cheating, dramaish, slight secondary charas, sexy times, no virgins

How far are you willing to go to protect someone you love? Would you marry a stranger?

This was my first book by Stefanie London and it will not be my last! Next to enemies to lovers, fake relationships are one of my favorite tropes! I love the forced proximity and how the characters get to know each other while pretending to be together. This one was a lovely slow burn and a great story of two people finding their footing by standing up to their past. Dion was such a sweet character while Sophia was strong and flourished after getting out from under her fathers control. If you’re a fake relationship/arranged marriage fan, this was a fantastic read!

I really enjoyed this fun, semi-hate to love romance. Sophia was the type of character I can get behind. At the start of the book she plays the good daughter, but as it progresses she grows stronger and more confident. I liked her quirky ways of keeping Greek billionaire Dion away and uninterested. The romance between the two seemed to happen naturally. It didn't feel forced which was a breath of fresh air. I called it a semi-hate to love romance, because they don't actually hate each other, its more that they don't know each other and dislike the reason behind their arranged marriage.

The was a fun, quick and steamy read. If that's your cup of tea then this book is for you.

This was a super quick and fun read. Predictable in the best ways with two entertaining main characters, decent backstory and subplots, a little bit of ridiculousness, and a dash of saucy. However, while I'm glad these are always a quick read, I always find myself wanting more detail and depth. Just an extra few chapters to build out more from Sophie and Dion.
