The final installment in the Jenna Fox Chronicles, which should really be renamed the Jenna Fox/Locke Jenkins Chronicles, this book was okay. The plot line was predictable, the characters weren't particularly interesting, they didn't change or grow much, and the finale was rather flat and, again, completely expected and unoriginal.

I feel that Pearson could have gone in so many interesting directions with her premise, but she either couldn't make up her mind as to what she wanted to convey with these books or she just didn't convey it very well.

If you liked the second book of the series, this was a continuation of it, and much the same in theme and style. I enjoyed learning more about Locke, and having some unresolved situations come full circle.

Initial Impressions:Definitely more enjoyable than the last book - I think the romance made all the difference in the world - But still found myself rushing through some parts and was more looking forward to being done at times than really enjoying the story. It was a bit too political for me in this book but overall made for a nice story and a great way to wrap up the series.

Review originally posted on The Book Addict's Guide: Yay, finally! This is was I was hoping for from this series, and I really felt like it all came together FOX FOREVER. Not only do we see more of Jenna, but I feel like Locke is finally starting to figure himself out in this book and I got SO much more personality from him. He’s finally free to act on his own will without worrying about other people tugging him in one direction or the other. I think seeing this side of Locke’s character helped make the book so much more enjoyable and I really got into the characters.

As far as plot goes, I feel like this was the best out of the series too. I think the romance between Locke and Raine really added a nice chunk of the story and gave it a little something extra that I was missing from books one and two. I know Jenna had a little romance in book one, but I was never really that into it. Locke and Raine, however, I totally loved. It made a big difference having a riskier and more passionate romance.

I was interested in the whole resistance/rescue mission plot, but at times, it was too political for me. I also wanted to know just a little bit more about the resistance since this was really its first appearance in the series (I think it had been mentioned in the second book, but not in detail). There were a lot of good points in the book and overall, I did end up enjoying it more than the first two, but still didn’t quite knock me off me feet!

Very interesting concept. However too many characters were introduced at the beginning; it was hard to keep trac. Moreover, the love story is very unrealistic..

The third in a dyastophic triology, Fox Forever focuses on Locke. It is a great book, which could be read on its own, but will make more sense after the other two.
