I never really like to rate memoirs or nonfiction of this sort because I feel like I’m not supposed to find entertainment in someone sharing their story. But the reason I gave this  book 4 stars is because, towards the middle I completely zoned out. I was here and wasn’t all at the same time. That was the only flaw of the book. Some things could have been left out, I feel, but again it’s not my place to judge someone’s life.

I love this book. Jessica Simpson deserves so much more credit than she has received.
I listened to the audiobook and that was even more fun bc it felt like she was personally telling me about her life.
I’m so proud of her, as much as I can be for a stranger. But hearing her tell her story feels like getting to know a new friend.

A fascinating peek behind the scenes of early 200s pop music celebrity, paparazzi, and reality TV. Jessica is personable and real, but doesn't delve into anything too controversial. (Her political values? Who knows!)
