I liked how fast of a read this was! The tension was fun for a little bit, but I might be alone here in thinking Lucy needed to let her walls down wayyyy sooner. I did smile a lot at my phone and enjoyee the whole book, it’s just one of those things where I didn’t relate to the main character’s POV. Still a fast read!!

Ok wow so I had read to love Jason Thorne and that was iconic and amazing I loved it soo much but I didn’t think a book could be better then that. Boy was I wrong to hate Adam Connor is wow it was so cute and sweet but it wasn’t your typical contemporary romance there were times when I was like what the actual heck just happened
Spoiler like when adam had Lucy arrested after she legit saved his son from drowning, or when Lucy was almost RAPED, and then there was when Adeline fulling went off the hinges and was going to hurt Aiden to save her career 😡, or when Lucy was pregnant with jamesons baby like WHAT
. I also love how it’s a dual POV because it’s just so cute especially in the beginning to see what they are both thinking after certain things happen. Also Lucy wow such an amazing bad ass female character that girl is hilarious and doesn’t let anyone push her around or hurt her ie.
Spoiler how she kicks her attempted rapists ass all by herself because she’s a baddie that doesn’t need to be saved
. She is in no way a weak female mc that needs saving and I loved that about her. Then you have Adam and how protective and good he is to his son (swoon🥰) husband material right there. Overall just an amazing enemies to lovers book that I could not put down. Ella Maise you really did out do yourself. If you haven’t read to love Jason Thorne and are thinking of reading this book first I recommend reading to love Jason Thorne first because you do have those characters in this book and it does help fill in some blanks but it’s not necessary if you only want to read this one. But I say read them both it’s soooo worth it

IM SCREAMING CRYING ROLLING ON THE FLOOR THAT WAS SO FREAKING CUTE
I'm literally obsessed. Lucy is one of my new favorite characters of all time. This is just one of the most unique relationships I've ever read and I'm so overwhelmed with amazingness. The only reason this baby isn't getting 5 stars is because of the stinking dialogue again (please, Ella Maise, use contractions when you write it so your characters don't speak like robots). However, even the robot-speak can't dull this story. LOVE
