2.5 for this one.
It was a quick read but some bits felt stretched out and others felt a little rushed

This was a really good book. I was so close to giving it 5 stars. I literally couldn’t put it down. There were twist and turns that i didn’t expect. As i approached the end of the book i was worried a few things would be rushed, but they weren’t and i loved that.

This book contained many things that i like to see in other books. That just added to the experience and made me like the book more.

Couldn't put it down. There's something about watching two people who have so much contempt for each other, fall for each other instead. I didn't want it to end.

Arrogant cocky alpha H finds his match in a smart, sassy h. Whitney G is one of the queens of this story line.

This was a fun listen. The love/hate give-and-take (basically foreplay) was crazy fast and made my laugh out loud several times.

I was a little surprised that the author used a real company for the bad guys. And that their evil was so cookie-cutter. I honestly can't imagine a CEO telling one of his legal counsel that she was only hired as a token woman, and not expected to do 'man's ' work. That's a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Themes: workplace, hotelier, personal assistant, NYC, unexpected family
