This series is great. Book two has Lacy at a wedding, and I have to say, the latter half of the book is my favorite. These are funny, well written books.

This was a funny, quick read. I enjoyed it but didn't completely love it. Carlos is fun. 3.5 stars.

What could go wrong... at an Italian Mafia wedding!?

This is a wonderful second instalment in Lacey Luzzi’s attempt to find her place with the Family and earn a little money. She is investigating the death of one of the Family associates, she needs to confirm the Russians weren’t involved. Instead it is a roadshow if the bizarre and terrible events that make up Lacey’s carwreck of a life, which wouldn’t be complete without kidnapping, explosions and being shot at again!

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Family weddings are always an adventure. Add in a change in groom, an ex-fiancé that wants back in, a dead body and you have a Luzzi Family wedding. Lacey is back on the case finding answers for Carlos.

If there's one word to define this series it's definitely entertaining. I've found myself swept up in the tsunami that is Lacey's life! These books are the perfect escape with a dash of mystery, cheesiness, hot Italians, and adventures!

So, after reading the first I had to buy the next. That is a review of the book in itself.

Lacey is ready for her next assignment (and payment). Her grandfather asks her to find out if the Russians are involved in the death of one of their people. Furthermore, Lacey has to attend the wedding of her cousin Vivian and needs a plus one.
She finds a well paying plus one in the shape of Joey, the ex of the bride that wants to win her back.

There is some more background information available here (though not much) and the relationship between Lacey and Anthony starts to heat up.

I liked the antics of the 'crew' (Lacey, Clay, Meg eo) and am really looking forward to the next book.

Note to author: I would love to have some more background information about Lacey (and Anthony....) but maybe that is to be found in the prequel 'Scooped'.
