Another fantastic Mercy Thompson book. As much as i hate to say it though I hope the series wraps up soon before it gets redundant like the Anita Blake series by Laurel K. Hamilton

This story line was really great. But it could have been told better if just Lorelei King narrated. All I can say is that it’s a good thing I’ve listened to her narrate all the previous books in the series, because she made me love Adam. But with a newcomer, who evidently hasn’t read the series, I would not have been a big fan of Adam if this was my only experience of him.

This series is FANTASTIC!! I’ve loved the audio of all the books, just not as much this one. Lorelei King is an amazing and very versatile narrator!!!

I’m still giving it 5 stars, because the writing is phenomenal, as usual. I love Patricia Briggs!!

This was really well done. At first, the switching perspectives bugged me (they always do, it's tough for my ADHD), but I ended up liking it, honestly. This was a good book in the series, well plotted, very creative. I also did not see the twist at the end.

I can't find fault with the book itself, but I'm quite disappointed with the audiobook. Why, in book 10, would they suddenly add a male narrator for Adam??
Newbern might be talented, but his voice is not Adam. It made Adam sound like a petulent 19 year old, and I kept zoning out during his chapters.

The story itself a bit repetitive, but still nice. I liked that we got a new setting, shaking things up a little bit.
