I debated giving this book 0 stars but I think I’ll give it 2 because in spite of the author’s sexism, Christian proselytizing, and in one particularly memorable passage framing of child rape as that child “acting out due to not feeling loved”, he does occasionally stumble across some valid points. This is the kind of book you can recommend snippets of but absolutely not in its entirety. Still, glad I read it so that I can talk about what’s now become a ubiquitous cultural paradigm.
