The meals are tasty and low-cost. Also there are some great tips on how to shop on a budget. My only complaint is that shopping at certain times isn't an option for all people and seems like it would be less of an option for those who need to watch their wallet the most.
Also time wise, a couple of these meals/ making these meals form scratch may not be feasible for someone working lower end jobs (Especially if they haven't been able to invest in good knives/cookware). I know that's not this book's fault, but there's way more to cooking on s budget than the initial cost of ingredients, there's a time and initial cookware investment too. Not to mention a space/willingness of family to eat on a budget.
