This was also a really good novella. I liked the part about seeing Emma at the fair. This gave me some insight on why Sutton didn't agree with Laurel as much as Emma does, which was helpful as a reader to have.

I didn't get the book I'm waiting for today either - so I spent my time reading another novella.

This was pretty good. I liked meeting the characters again, and it was nice to see both how Garrett and Sutton started dating, very cute, and how Laurel became a member of the Lying Game, also very cute and funny.

This little novella was full of filler! It might as well have been a 2 page short story instead of a 90+ page novelette. I found myself skipping past detailed descriptions of a pool or building to try to get to something interesting. I love descriptive books that pull you into a whole different universe.... but there was literally nothing to grab my attention in True Lies.

The beginning starts out with Thayer's disappearance, his contacting Sutton, and his refusal to tell anyone what's going on or where he is. The bulk of the book takes place in Las Vegas on a Lying Game road trip. The girls, Mads and Char, want to induct Laurel to the Game. Sutton, of course being Sutton..., is not okay with her baby sister infiltrating her exclusive club. The girls challenge Sutton to a battle of pranks, if you will. May the best liar win. It uncovers a bit about Sutton and Laurel's sisterly relationship and gives Sutton's side of the "stealing Garrett" story line. It shows a bit of Sutton's soft side to reveal she's no always a heartless bitch.

Overall it's a decent story, but didn't impress me. I just found myself bored. On to book number 6!

Finally found out how Sutton started dating Garrett and some more information about when Thayer went missing. I liked getting to see Sutton in her own life.

This book mentions a lot of brands. Here: Chanel, Prada, Tory Burch. Now you have, essentially, had the experience of reading this book. You're welcome.

This was super fun! You get more insight into why Sutton was the way she was in her relationships with Garrett and Thayer and Laurel, and even see hints of Ethan and Emma. I throughly enjoyed, even more so than the first novella.

I thought this book was very good. I think it was a little short but still good. It really gives you a look into who Sutton Mercer is.
