This story was like a warm hug. It was like playing through the Mass Effect 3 Citadel DLC for hours on end. It was a joy to spend time with all of these characters, and the found family dynamics are unmatched.

This is just as wonderful as everyone says it is. This sort of slice-of-life thing in a Sci-Fi setting really works for me, but it's the characters are really that shine here. If you love a big cast you can emotionally invest in, this is the book for you. I can see why some might find it a bit boring, but for me it was damn near perfect.

Rating and review previously held during the HPCUnion strike.

This was an enjoyable story and intro to the Wayfayer crew. Already grabbed the sequel from the library! Also, Rosemary *cries*

CW: xenophobia, drugging, gun violence, violence, non-consensual medical procedure, grief, death, terminal illness
