I absolutely loved this book. It was the first one of Maeve Binchy's that I read, and it was really good. I loved how the characters were so realistic and well-personalized. Her writing style was light, with a good amount of description (not too much, which is what I was expecting). I loved how the plotlines developed and entertwined. I also loved that there were four Nationalities being discussed (it really added to the characters). Obviously the happy endings made me pleased too. A very nice read, and a good way to end the book club year!

1.5 estrellas.

I picked up this book from the thrift store because I kept seeing this author and decided to pick up a book. I didn't know what to expect so I went in without any preconceived notions. I enjoyed the story and the writing wasn't bad either. I think of you would like a nice read, you can pick this one up and be satisfied.

I read this for a challenge and really enjoyed it. The characters were all likeable except for Shane. I really felt like I was right there with everyone I was reading about!

Nights of Rain and Stars by Maeve Binchy was for just another book. I was brought in by her setting, loving every moment of the Greek setting but I have to say that her characters at times fell flat and her plot was just a bit too predictable and nicely wrapped up. A quick and easy read but honestly, I had to read the summary to remember what this book was all about. Very forgettable.
