It was a good book overall and it was a really interesting read (because of the plot twist). I didn't realize Mary had plotted something behind Rick's back. As for the characters, my favorite was Kim, Zach, and Lori. I hate how Ginny immediately judges people without making sure if it's true or not. Lori is very adorable, Kim and Zach are such loyal friends towards Rick. I feel neutral for Rick because he's either dumb or amazing (in some ways). I do relate to him about not everything's all about black and white sometimes you choose gray (whenever you're unsure) and how he's constantly lying towards himself.

"IDENTITY: GUARDED
Maintaining his cover cost undercover cop Rick Gray the woman he loved. Sweet Ginny Bryson never really knew Rick. He never gave her the chance. Not then, and not now, when he's back with a new alias to gather evidence against Ginny's uncle. The man's crimes led to Rick's partner's death, and Rick wants justice to be served. But his investigation is stirring up trouble, and Ginny is smack-dab in the middle. Someone wants Ginny to pay the price for what her uncle has done. But how can Rick protect her without blowing his cover, jeopardizing his assignment...and risking both their lives?

My personal Rating- Three Stars
Sandra Orchard has become one of my favorite authors with her Secrets of Aster Port series and the Serena Jones Mysteries, but this one definitely wasn’t a favorite of mine—eight of her other books have received 4 or 4.5 stars for My Personal Rating. The plot just seemed to jump around along with some head jumping. Ginny nor Rick were my favorite at any moment—Lori won that award! She was so precious. :)
